Download EbookThe Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 exam date and issued the VITEEE application form 2026. The entrance exam will be held between April 28 and May 3, 2026 tentatively for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered at all the campuses. VITEEE 2026 registration has started on the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.
The last date to apply for the entrance examination is March 31, 2026. In order to apply, candidates will be required to pay the VITEEE registration fee 2026 of Rs 1,350.
As per the VITEEE 2026 eligibility criteria, students who have qualified or are appearing for Class 12 exams with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics or biology (50% for reserved categories) are eligible to apply. The applicant should be a resident, Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card holder. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2004 are eligible to fill VIT application form 2026.

According to the VITEEE 2026 exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 125 questions divided into mathematics or biology (40 questions), physics (35 questions), chemistry (35 questions), aptitude (10 questions), and English (five questions). The duration of the examination will be two hours and 30 minutes.
Candidates will be awarded four marks for each right answer. There will be negative marking and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. VITEEE 2026 result will be tentatively declared in the second week of May 2026 and the counselling process will begin in the same month.

- Go to the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in
- Sign up using name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email ID
- Fill the application form with the required details
- Pay the application fee and upload the required documents
- Submit and download the application form
