Vivekanand Vidya Vihar holds first large-scale alumni reunion; Classes 9 to 12 gain career insights

Over 50 teachers and alumni from 28 batches attended the Vivekanand Vidya Vihar reunion. They interacted with students, discussing career options and more.
Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organised its first large-scale alumni reunion on December 28, 2025, at the school campus near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The event brought together alumni from 28 batches, from 1998 to 2025, as well as current students and teachers. The reunion was held under the theme “Connect | Contribute | Celebrate.”
As per the school, alumni from across India registered for the event, hailing from cities including Indore, Bhopal, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Participants included professionals from fields such as engineering, medicine, media, sports, and administration.
According to the school, the reunion was the first large-scale, formal alumni gathering in its history. Alumni attended from across India and abroad, representing multiple professional fields. The school also recognised milestone batches, including those of 2000, 2005, and 2010, during the event.

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Reunion: Alumni initiatives
Around 50 current and former teachers also attended the reunion. Students from Classes 9 to 12 engaged with alumni “at a stage critical to their career decisions,” discussing career options in fields such as engineering, medicine, as well as competitive examinations.
During the reunion, the school highlighted alumni-led initiatives, including scholarships, mentorship programmes, career guidance, and support for teacher and school development. According to the school, “Alumni shared experiences and guidance on career planning, higher education, and professional development.”
The school further highlighted that it also maintained connections with alumni through WhatsApp communities, with over 600 members, and the Vaave Alumni Portal, which had more than 400 registered users.
Vivekanand Vidya Vihar was established in 1994, guided by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. The school is located near the junction of Dhar, Barwani, and Khargone districts and draws students from multiple cities, including Indore and Bhopal, providing access to learners from across the region.
