NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 exam will be conducted today, April 30 by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) in offline mode. Candidates are required to bring the WBJEE admit card and ID proof such as aadhar card, passport, voter ID card, school ID card or Class 10 admit card to the exam hall. The admit card is available to download on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.

WBJEE is an entrance exam held at the state level in West Bengal to give admissions to undergraduate programmes in engineering, pharmacy and architecture in government and self-financed institutions and universities across West Bengal. The WBJEE 2022 exam includes two papers, the first paper in mathematics, and the second paper in physics and chemistry. WBJEE exam time for paper 1 is from 11 am to 1 pm, and paper 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm.

WBJEE 2022 Exam: Important guidelines

  • Candidates have to be at the exam centres 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the exam.

  • WBJEE candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam hall after the start of the test.

  • Electronic gadgets such as calculators, wristwatches, mobile phones, blue tooth devices are not allowed in the exam hall. Cndidates cannot carry even carry printed material, and log tables.

  • Candidates have to sign on the top of the question booklets.

  • Names have to be written in block letters.

  • Candidates have to write the names of centres on the OMR sheets.

  • Rough work can only be done on the space provided in the question booklet.

  • Candidates are required to follow COVID-19 protocols such as wearing masks and social distancing.
