WBJEE 2022 result expected soon; How general merit list is prepared

NEW DELHI : The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, WBJEEB will declare the result of WBJEE 2022 soon at wbjeeb.nic.in. The West Bengal JEE results will also be updated at the WBJEE result 2022 official website - wbresults.nic.in. Students will have to use their application number and password to download the WBJEE 2022 result. The WBJEE result 2022 date has not been announced yet.
The WBJEE 2022 result link will be available in online mode only. Students will have to visit the www.wbjeeb.nic.in 2022 for WBJEE result download.
Students should note that they will be able to view and download his/her rank card, which will contain score and rank through login only. The authorities will not publish any rank/score list for the public to ensure confidentiality to each individual candidate.
WBJEE 2022 Result: General Merit Rank

The authorities will prepare a sequence of General Merit Rank (GMR) based on the total score obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II taken together.

Ranking will be done in the descending order of total marks scored in all the subjects. In case of ties, tie-breaking rules .

Separate reserved category merit positions will also be indicated for respective category of students e.g., SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PWD Rank, TFW Rank etc., as applicable.

Admission to all Engineering / Technology / Architecture Courses and to the Pharmacy Course in Jadavpur University will be based on GMR.

Sequencing order for counselling/allotment of seat/admission will be based on GMR only (not on category ranks). Category ranks are for information only to candidates of respective category.
