WBJEE 2023 Registration: To register for WBJEE 2023, candidates are required to log in to the official website and register themselves with the necessary details.
NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023 online registration process is underway. Candidates who want to take admission to the undergraduate Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture programmes in West Bengal’s government and self-financed institutions can apply for the WBJEE 2023 exam. The last date to fill out the WBJEE application form is January 20, 2023.
To complete the registration and application process candidates need to visit the official website of WBJEE- wbjeeb.nic.in. Before applying for WBJEE , candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria and academic requirements.
The WBJEE 2023 registration fee is Rs 500 for the General category candidates and Rs 400 for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Caste-A and Other Backward Caste-B category candidates. The WBJEE 2023 exam will be conducted on April 3, 2023.
Eligibility criteria for appearing in the WBJEE 2023
- Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). OCI candidates will be eligible for only Unreserved seats in the All India quota.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination before 2023 or appear in Class 12 or its equivalent examination in 2023.
- Age restriction:
a) The lower age limit is 17 years as of December 31, 2023. A candidate should have been born on or before December 31, 2006. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.
b) However, for admission to the degree-level Marine Engineering course the upper age limit is 25 years as of December 31, 2023.
WBJEE 2023: Steps to apply online
Candidates taking the WBJEE 2023 exam will have to follow the below steps to fill out the application form.
- Visit the official website -- wbjeeb.nic.in
- Then complete the WBJEE 2023 registration process with the required details.
- Then log in with the credentials and fill out the WBJEE application form.
- Upload the required documents, pay the WBJEE registration fee and submit the application form.
- On successful completion of all the above steps, candidates will be directed to download the confirmation page.
