WBJEE 2025 results 'may be delayed' due to OBC survey: WBJEEB chairperson

"I am not sure exactly when the WBJEE results will be declared, they may be delayed. We are waiting for the fresh survey results to identify OBCs," said Sonali Chakraborty, Chairperson of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).
Based on the previous years’ trends and expert insights, WBJEE result date 2025 was expected in June this year.
The West Bengal JEE Board issued the WBJEE answer key 2025 on May 9 and candidates were allowed to raise objections by May 11.
WBJEE results will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key. As per the WBJEE 2025 marking scheme, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be negative marking for questions in category 1 and 2.

WBJEEB conducted WBJEE 2025 on April 27 for admission to undergraduate programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy. The participating institutions will release WBJEE cut-off 2025 to admit students who will be allotted seats based on their WBJEE 2025 ranks.
