WBJEEEB declared the WBJEE result 2025 today for engineering, technology, architecture, pharmacy courses. Two students from Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, Kolkata – Dishaant Basu and Aritro Ray – grabbed the top spots, third and fourth respectively.
WBJEEB prepares merit ranks based on the candidates’ scores in the entrance exam. The board said it does not publish any rank or score list for the public to ensure confidentiality for individual candidates.
Two WBJEE 2025 merit lists are prepared based on the papers – general merit rank (GMR) and pharmacy merit rank (PMR). GMR is prepared on the basis of scores in paper 1 and 2 whereas PMR is formed based on paper 2 marks only.
The general rank will be used for admissions to engineering, architecture courses in all colleges and pharmacy at Jadavpur University. The other rank will be used for pharmacy admissions in all institutes except JU.
The West Bengal JEE result 2025 has been prepared based on the final answer key and revised merit list. The board dropped one question from the WBJEE 2025 final answer key.
