WBJEE 2023 result 2023 was declared at 2:30 PM today, May 26, 2023

The WB entrance exam board will soon announce the WBJEE counselling dates 2023 on the official website- wbjeeb.nic.in. The counselling process will comprise of registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and acceptance of seats. 

WBJEE college predictors helps candidates get an idea about the chances of admission to their preferred college based on their WBJEE 2023 scores. 

The WBJEE 2023 cut-offs will be released by participating institutes separately. The cutoff marks will vary for each of the categories and offered courses. 

A total of 1,24,919 candidates appeared in WBJEE 2023 that includes 91,974 male, 52,944 female, and 1 transgender.

Jadavpur University requires a minimum qualifying score above 105 for BTech and  90 BPharm score.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said in a tweet, "Congratulations to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2023 toppers and successful candidates from West Bengal and all over the country. I am extremely happy that 53% of total successful candidates are from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. This year 27.5 % of the successful candidates are women. West Bengal education minister Bratya Basu said in a tweet, "West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Result 2023 declared today. The success rate is 99.4% among 97 thousand 524 candidates. a) The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW) has been implemented by the Government of West Bengal for meritorious and economically backward students.

b) The student must be domiciled in West Bengal and his/her total annual Family Income from all sources must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand only).

c) The waiver is limited to the Tuition Fee only. All other fees will have to be paid by the student.

Md Sahil Akhter from DPS Ruby Park has topped the West Bengal JEE exams 2023, according to TOI. 

As per a TOI report, a total of 96,913 students have qualified in WBJEE 2023 exam.

Last year, 98.85% candidates qualified in WBJEE exam for admission to BTech programmes in engineering colleges.

WBJEE result 2023 has been declared through the press conference. 

A total of 1,24,919 candidates appeared in WBJEE 2023 including 91,974 male, 52,944 female, and 1 transgender. The exam was conducted at 306 centres. 

WBJEE counselling 2023 rounds will remain the same as last year but the dates will be announced later. WBJEEB will provide a booklet to students for counselling. 

WBJEEB depends on 3 organisations, AICTE, Council of Architecture, Pharmacy Council of India for WBJEE counselling 2023. The counselling dates depend on the dates set for approvals by these bodies.

The board used RFID, metal detectors as well as secured OMR sheets and booklets to prevent cheating in WBJEE 2023 exam.

WBJEEB has started the press conference to declare WBJEE results 2023.

WBJEE official website, wbjeeb.nic.in, will host the WBJEE result 2023 link at 4 pm today. Candidates will be able to download their results by entering their login credentials such as application number and password. 

With the help of WBJEE college predictor, candidates will be able to predict their chances of getting admission in their preferred engineering colleges and BTech branches based on their WBJEE scores. 

WBJEE counselling 2023 dates will be announced after the declaration of WBJEE result 2023.

Candidates will need to enter their application number and password to download WBJEE result 2023 at wbjeeb.nic.in. 

For admission to Calcutta University BTech admissions 2023, a candidate must pass Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board in regular mode with physics, mathematics, and chemistry subjects with at least 60% marks.

WBJEE result 2023 today; exam pattern 

WBJEEB will prepare General Merit Rank (GMR) on the basis of scores in paper 1 and paper 2 whereas Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) will be prepared based on paper 2 only. 

A BTech student from one department can pursue a “minor specialisation in emerging areas” offered by a different department and collect a “minor degree” from the second branch as AICTE introduced 'minor degrees'.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) released the WBJEE final answer key 2023 on May 25. The official notice reads: "The final answer keys, after thorough post-examination internal verification and review of candidates’ challenges as received, are prepared. Scoring and ranking will be done based on these final answer keys".
