Over 1 lakh candidates who appeared in the exam will be eligible to apply for the WBJEE 2025 counselling.

The WBJEE counselling and choice filling facility is now available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates are required to fill their choice of courses and colleges in the order of preference before the deadline.
The last date to apply for the WBJEE counselling 2025 is September 1. Candidates will also have to lock their choices before September 1. The first round of selection or WBJEE seat allotment result based on the choices on September 3.
The WBJEE result 2025 , counselling, and admission process was delayed for over 3 months after the exam due to the legal bottleneck over OBC reservation. After the contempt proceeding initiated by Justice Kaushik Chanda, the court directed the board to publish a fresh merit list based on the old reservation policy.
The WBJEE results were finally declared on August 22 and hosted the rank on the official website.
The board also notified course-wise and institute-wise availability of seats. As per the West Bengal JEE seat matrix , the board will fill 52,000 seats through the counselling process.

Follow these step-by-step instructions to fill the WBJEE BTech counselling 2025 form.
- Visit the WBJEE official website 2025, wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Under the candidate activity board, click on the “Online Registration & Choice Filling for WBJEE Counselling 2025”
- This will redirect you to the WBJEE application portal for counselling.
- Key in WBJEE application number, password, and security pin.
- The application form will open. Now, fill the choices of courses and colleges.
- Pay the application fees and confirm the choices filled.
- Review the details entered and download the confirmation page for future reference.
