Use NowA total of 2,139 candidates are vying for 1,312 postgraduate medical seats across 84 colleges, meaning nearly half of them will not secure admission in the West Bengal NEET PG round 1 counselling. The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) today published the seat matrix and provisional merit list for round 1 counselling. MCC NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotment (OUT) LIVE
The West Bengal NEET PG choice filling process has also begun on the official website, wbmcc.nic.in. Qualified candidates who have already registered, paid the counselling fee, and completed document verification will be allowed to submit their choices. Students will be able to opt for seats under PG medical, DNB state quota, private management quota, and NRI quota.
The last date to fill and lock the choices in the order of preference is November 24. After processing the preferences submitted by candidates, the WBMCC will declare the West Bengal NEET PG seat allotment 2025 results on November 27.
Candidates allotted a seat in the West Bengal NEET PG round 1 counselling will have to report at the respective medical colleges between November 28 and December 3 for document verification and completion of the admission process.
Those who are not allotted a seat in the first round will be eligible to participate in the second round, for which, registrations will begin on December 8.
West Bengal NEET PG 2025: How to fill choices?
As per the West Bengal NEET PG seat matrix 2025, 84 medical colleges offer a total of 1,312 MD, MS, PG diploma courses. The WBMCC has instructed candidates to follow the guidelines given below to fill choices.
- Visit the WBMCC official website, wbmcc.nic.in.
- Click on the PG medical option on the homepage.
- Now log-in using NEET PG roll number, password, and security pin.
- The total number of available choices as per the eligibility of the candidate will be displayed.
- Candidates can find available choices, choice filling, and choice locking links on the left hand menu.
- Fill up the seat choices as per preference,
- Edit seat choices, review, and finally, lock the choice list.
- Candidates will be required to enter their password and OTP before choice filling and locking.
- Save and download the choice form after submitting preferences.
