Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2024 will be held on January 7. Applicants should avoid mistakes on the exam day. Some common mistakes are like forgetting to carry important documents or time management issues. Students who want to crack this MBA entrance exam with a good score should be careful so that they don’t commit these mistakes that many of them make during the CAT exam day.

The following tips will assist candidates to prepare and ace their CAT exam confidently with minimal distractions.
XAT 2024: Mistakes to avoid on XAT exam day
Students should start the exam by carefully reading the instructions in the XAT exam 2024. Since the XAT 2024 is speed-focused, students should make swift decision-making. Candidates should practice on their speed and accuracy to finish all the five sections within the 3-hour time frame in XAT 2024.
They should also ensure to bring all the documents and things. Don't forget to carry two copies of XAT admit card and a valid photo ID like Aadhaar card, voter ID card, passport, or driver’s licence. Those from the PwD category should carry PwD and scribe certificates.
Be on time the XAT test centre: Students should reach the exam center at 1.30 PM at XAT exam time to avoid the last-minute rush. XAT exam will start at 2 PM on January 7.

Don’t cram before the exam: Students should spend an hour revising important theories, shortcuts and formulas the night before the XAT exam. Don't try to cram up new topics or solve XAT mock tests. Remember that if your concepts are clear, you can crack the XAT 2024.

Manage time properly: Students shouldn’t get stuck on one question and waste too much time on difficult questions. Focus on easy ones first and then return to the tougher questions. XAT 2024 will be held for 180 minutes, so, don't spend more than 1-2 minutes on a question.
Don’t lose patience while reading the XAT 2023 question paper: Carefully read the XAT question paper and not rush through the questions. These can lead to forgetting or misunderstanding the questions.
Don’t panic during XAT exam: XAT 2024 question paper may contain some tricky or confusing questions. Take a deep breath and don’t panic during that situation. Read the question twice, and move on to the next one if not able to solve it. Only solve questions that you can answer accurately.
