NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities has again postponed the CLAT 2020, the new exam date will be announced on July 1. The last date to submit the CLAT application form has also been extended up to July 1. The decision to postpone the exam is taken after considering the government orders regarding the lockdown 4.0 situation.

As per the notification released by the conducting body, the candidates will be given at least 21 days prior notice for the exam. The CLAT Consortium has also provided a helpline number to address the querries of the CLAT aspirants which will be active on all working days between 10 am to 5 pm.
In another important development, the CLAT Consortium has notified that it will also set up a Peer Prep Group for General Knowledge and Current Affairs where the candidates can work on improving their preparation. The conducting body will monitor the group and keep the conversation focussed and issue clarifications that can help the candidates in their preparation.
