Above 9 lakh candidates qualify for RRB ALP second stage

New Delhi, November 2: After the RRB ALP result announcement of first stage, over 9,65,565 lakh candidates have qualified for the second stage exam out of the total appeared candidates. Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the result of RRB ALP first stage exam on November 2. The result was earlier scheduled to be released on November 5, however, the result has been declared three days earlier.
The result has been declared for the first stage exam which was conducted from August 9 to 31, 2018 for 47.56 lakh candidates. RRB ALP result has been announced separately by 21 RRBs. The scorecard of candidates has also been released by the RRBs. To download the scorecard, candidates will have to enter registration ID and password. The scorecard displays name, roll number, actual marks, qualifying marks and normalised score. Candidates can download their RRB ALP scorecard for first stage till December 11, 2018.
Along with the result, RRB ALP cutoff for the first stage has been announced for all the regions. According to RRB ALP cut off of Ahmedabad, the cutoff for ALP posts for general category is 43.46 while that for OBC is 35.14. The cutoff for SC and ST are 32.16 and 28.14, respectively.
Candidates who have qualified the first stage exam will have to appear for the second stage which is scheduled to be conducted from December 12 to 14. The second stage consists of two parts – A and B. Part A will consist of questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness. While, Part B will have questions from relevant trades. RRB ALP admit card for second stage will be released four days before candidates scheduled exam.
RRB ALP is being conducted for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians posts. As many as 64,371 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment exam.
