Check NowNEW DELHI: The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has announced that an additional entrance test will be conducted for admission to BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM programmes. The decision came after representations made by several students and parents for an extra test as many candidates could not appear for the exam held on May 29.
“BBA, BCA, BBM, BMS Common Entrance Test was conducted by this office on 29/05/2024 for admission to BMS and BBM courses. As a large number of candidates could not participate in the said Common Entrance Test, candidates/parents/institutions had requested to conduct additional Common Entrance Test by visiting this office in person, submitting application form, through e-mail as well as by telephone,” said the CET cell in an official notice.
The exam authority informed that the state government has approved the additional entrance exam for these undergraduate management courses and asked students, parents, and institutions to keep checking the official website for the exam dates and other information.
“Considering the educational interests of the candidates, the government has given this office approval to conduct an additional Common Entrance Test for admission to BBA, BCA, BMS and BBM courses. Regularly visit the website of this office to see the instructions published by this office regarding the respective examination. All concerned students/parents/institutions may kindly take note of this,” it said.
Recently, the CET cell debunked claims of an additional exam for BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM admissions as false.
