AFCAT 1 registration 2026 begins today; apply by December 14

Free DownloadThe Indian Air Force (IAF) will commence registration for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 1) 2026 today, November 17. Candidates can apply for AFCAT 2026 on the official website, afcat.edcil.co.in, before December 14. IAF AFCAT 1 exam is scheduled on January 31.

Candidates will be able to download the AFCAT 1 admit card 2026 from January 22 onwards. Before applying for the exam, candidates are required to keep their Class 10 and 12 certificates and details, a valid email ID, a valid phone number, and Aadhar card details.
AFCAT application fee is Rs 550 plus GST charges. Candidates will have the option to choose a total of 5 cities in order of preference from the list of 104 AFCAT exam centres.
According to the AFCAT exam pattern, the paper consists of four sections: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, as well as a Military Aptitude Test, comprising 100 questions and 300 marks.
Candidates will have to complete their paper within 2 hours. Candidates will be given 3 marks for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
