NEW DELHI: The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 will be conducted tomorrow, December 22, 2024. The Bar Council of India (BCI) will hold the AIBE exam in offline (pen-and-paper) mode to determine the eligibility of law graduates for practising law in India.
Candidates appearing for the AIBE 19 exam will be required to carry the AIBE admit card 2024 which can be downloaded from the official website, allindiabarexamination.com.
Students will be tested on their knowledge of subjects including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure Code, and Professional Ethics, among others. The AIBE 19 question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the test will be three hours.
The minimum passing marks for AIBE 2024 have been fixed at 45% for the general, Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates and 40% for the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and disabled candidates.
AIBE 19: Things to carry, exam-day guidelines
For candidates appearing for the AIBE 19 tomorrow, here are the exam-day guidelines to follow:
- Carry a printed copy of your AIBE 19 admit card. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- Bring valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhar card, voter ID, passport, or driver's license. Make sure the name and details on your ID match those on your admit card.
- Arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the start of the exam to complete the required formalities and avoid any last-minute stress.
- Ensure that you know the exact address and directions to your exam center ahead of time.
- Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, books, study material, notes, bags, purses, or wallets should ideally be avoided.
- While there is no specific dress code, it is advisable to wear comfortable and simple attire. Avoid wearing any heavy jewelry or accessories that may need to be checked during security checks.
