AKTU Admission 2022: Registration for vacant seats from December 1

NEW DELHI : APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will begin pre-registration for vacant seats left after counselling from December 1 for admissions 2022-23. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to register for vacant seats on the official website – aktu.ac.in. Last date to pre-register is December 15, 2022.

“After the counseling is over, pre-registration is to be done on the seats left vacant in the private institutions as per the academic calendar of the university like the previous year,” read an official notification from AKTU.

The university informed candidates that the link to registration for admission to vacant seats has been activated on the official website.

AKTU asked colleges to ensure registration of students taken from the institute-level management quota otherwise they will not be included in the enrollment process.

Candidates taking admission against the vacant seats will have to pay online the registration fee prescribed by the university. Candidates who have appeared for UPTAC, JEE Main 2022, or NTA exams belonging to general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and other states categories will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 whereas Scheduled Caste (ST) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will have to pay Rs 500.

Candidates who have not appeared for these exams and have minimum academic qualification and belong to general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and other states categories will have to pay Rs 2,300 registration fee whereas SC and ST candidates will have to pay Rs 1,150 for admissions.

How to register for AKTU vacant seats

• Visit the official website of AKTU – aktu.ac.in
• On the homepage, click on the registration link
• Fill the application form by entering the necessary details
• After registration, candidates will receive an application number with which they can open the dashboard
• Pay the registration fee and upload the required documents
• Check the data submitted and click on submit button
• Take a print out of the application form for future reference
