Andhra Pradesh: Over 1,000 GPREC students placed, says report

NEW DELHI: G Pulla Reddy Engineering College in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh is conducting campus placement for the 2022 batch and over 1,000 students have been placed, The Hindu reported.

Some of the recruiters that participated in the placement drive are Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Hexaware, Mindtree, Hitachi and Modak Analytics, etc., as per the report.
GPREC chairman P Subba Reddy told The Hindu that the recruitment process was still under way. The average salary offered is Rs 4.20 lakh per annum and more than 100 students landed salary packages of Rs 5 lakh per annum and above.
Reddy congratulated the students and faculty for achieving the milestone of 1,000+ job offers, the report said.

In other news, IIM Calcutta has concluded its summer internship placements with 100% students getting placed and receiving 570 offers from finance and consulting companies mostly.
