Check NowThe Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has extended the last date for registration for round 1 of the Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2026 counselling process. Eligible candidates seeking admission to the lateral entry to the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes can now register online and pay the processing fee till July 12, 2026, at cap.apcfss.in.

AP ECET 2026 counselling revised schedule
As per the revised counselling schedule, online verification of uploaded certificates will continue till July 13, while candidates will be able to exercise web options from July 8 to July 14. The AP ECET seat allotment result 206 will be announced on July 20, and candidates allotted seats will have to complete self-reporting and report to their allotted colleges between July 21 and 25.
Steps to register for AP ECET 2026 counselling
Candidates have to register online using their AP ECET hall ticket number and other required credentials. After registration, they must pay the prescribed processing fee and upload the required certificates for online verification. Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the AP ECET round 1 registration 2026.
- Visit the official AP ECET counselling website, cap.apcfss.in.
- Click on the AP ECET 2026 counselling registration link.
- Enter the login credentials.
- Pay the AP ECET counselling processing fee online.
- Fill in the application form and upload the required documents.
- Complete the online certificate verification process.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Only candidates who successfully complete the AP ECET registration and certificate verification process will be eligible to participate in the web options entry and subsequent seat allotment process.

Candidates are advised to keep the following documents while completing the counselling process.
- AP ECET 2026 rank card
- AP ECET 2026 hall ticket
- Diploma or BSc degree mark sheets
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Study certificates
- Class 10 marks memo
- Residence certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable)
- Caste certificate (for reserved category candidates)
- Aadhaar card
- Passport-size photographs
The last date extension provides additional time for diploma holders and BSc (mathematics) graduates who qualified in AP ECET 2026 to complete the registration process, upload certificates and participate in the counselling process.
