AP LAWCET 2024 Seat Allotment: Options available
In the AP LAWCET 2024 seat allotment process, candidates typically have three options: Freeze , Float , and Slide . Here’s a brief overview of each option:
-
Freeze : If you are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of allotment, you can choose the freeze option. This means you accept the seat as is and forfeit your chance to be considered for other seats.
-
Float : Choosing the float option allows you to accept the allotted seat while still being open to the possibility of being considered for better options in subsequent rounds. If a better seat becomes available, you may be upgraded to that seat.
-
Slide : The slide option is similar to float, but it’s specifically for candidates who wish to retain their allotted seat while being considered for a different course in the same institution. If a seat in a preferred course at the same college becomes available, you may be upgraded.
