APPSC Recruitment 2023: Registrations begin for 897 group 2 posts at psc.ap.gov.in; selection process

NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has commenced the registration process for recruitment to various group II services. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the APPSC recruitment 2023 application form at psc.ap.gov.in. The registration deadline for APPSC recruitment 2023 is January 10, 2024 by 11:59 pm.
According to the official notification, APPSC aims to fill a total of 897 vacancies under this recruitment drive. There are 331 vacancies for executive positions and 566 for non-executive positions among the 897 vacancies.
APPSC Recruitment 2023: Application fee
Candidates applying for positions under APPSC recruitment 2023 will have to an application fee of Rs 250 along with an examination fee of Rs 80. Whereas, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC), Physically Handicapped (PH) and Ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the examination fee.
The official notice read "It is noticed that some of the candidates are requesting for change in the data, after submission of the application. It is informed that such requests shall be allowed on payment of Rs.100/- for each correction. However changes are not allowed for Name, Fee and age relaxation. No manual application for corrections shall be entertained. "
APPSC Recruitment 2023: Selection process
Candidates will be required to take a screening test, which will be an objective-type examination in OMR-based format. Candidates who qualify the screening test will be eligible to sit for the main exam which is a computer-based test.
The screening test will be of 150 marks. The paper will consist of 2 sections-General studies and mental ability. General studies section carries 120 marks and the mental ability section carries 30 marks.
The main examination will be divided into two parts- Paper 1 and paper 2. Each paper carries 150 marks and is further divided into 2 sections.
Candidates have the facility to take mock test available on the commission's website to familiarise themselves with the computer-based test.
