The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has declared the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) round 1 seat allotment result for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by participating institutes across the state.

Candidates who took part in the first round of Assam CEE 2026 counselling can now check their allotment status by logging in to the official counselling portal using their application credentials. Assam CEE 2026 round 1 seat allotment is prepared on the basis of candidates' ranks, category, reservation criteria, seat availability, and the choices filled during the counselling process.

Candidates allotted a seat must complete the admission process within the prescribed timeline to secure their admission. According to the official counselling schedule, candidates can accept their Assam CEE 2026 round 1 seat allotment and download the allotment slip between July 28 and July 31, 2026.

Assam CEE 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Results: How to check

Candidates can follow these steps to access their round 1 seat allotment result:

  • Visit the official Assam CEE counselling portal

  • On homepage, click on the link that says Assam CEE 2026 round 1 seat allotment

  • Enter the required login credentials

  • Submit the details and view the allotment status

  • Download the allotment letter and retain a printed copy for future use

Documents Required

Candidates reporting to the allotted institute should carry the following documents for verification:

  • Assam CEE 2026 rank card

  • Seat allotment letter

  • Class 10 and class 12 mark sheets and certificates

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC), if required

  • Valid photo ID proof

  • Passport-size photographs

The allotted institutes will conduct document verification before confirming candidates’ admissions. Applicants must bring the original certificates and the required photocopies during the Assam CEE 2026 reporting process.

Assam CEE 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Results: Withdrawal, next round

Candidates who are not satisfied with the Assam CEE round 1 2026 results can withdraw their admission on or before July 31, 2026. As per the Assam CEE 2026 counselling guidelines, 10% of the admission fee will be retained by the provisionally admitted college, while the remaining amount will be refunded to the candidate.

Candidates who have not been allotted a seat or wish to participate in the upcoming counselling rounds can wait for further updates. ASTU is conducting the Assam CEE 2026 counselling in multiple rounds for admission to BTech programmes offered by participating engineering colleges across Assam. Candidates are advised to regularly check the websites of their allotted colleges for the latest updates, as the schedule is subject to change.
