Use NowThe Office of the Director of Medical Education has announced the Assam NEET PG counselling schedule for the final round of admissions to MD, MS, and diploma programmes. The registration for the Assam NEET PG for stray vacancy round will begin on February 20 at the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.
The Assam NEET PG stray vacancy counselling will be conducted for admission to vacant PG seats in government medical colleges and BBCI Guwahati under the Assam state quota.
Candidates who have appeared in the NEET PG exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and meet the cut-off score will be eligible to participate. Notably, the ministry of health and family welfare approved a reduction in the NEET PG cut-off to zero percentile from round 3 onwards.
Candidates who joined the allotted seats till round 3 under the All India Quota (AIQ) or state quota will not be eligible to participate in the final round, it said. After the registration, the Assam NEET PG choice filling for the final round will commence on February 21 and will be available till 5 pm. Meanwhile, the choice locking window will open at 4 pm on February 21 and close at 11.55 pm.
The final seat allotment of Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling along with the modalities of admission will be announced on February 23.
