Candidates who will be participating in state counselling can check the list on the official website of DME Assam, dme.assam.gov.in.

The counselling for admission into 50% postgraduate seats in the government medical colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I., Guwahati under the Assam State Quota for the 2026 session will be conducted as per the Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021, including amendments made to date.
Assam NEET PG counselling eligibility
Candidates eligible for admission into PG courses under the said rules who have appeared in NEET PG 2026 and secured the cut-off score or above can participate in the online counselling. However, the candidate's name and NEET PG 2026 roll number must be present in the state provisional merit list published by the Directorate.
Assam NEET PG 2026 provisional list has roll number, candidate name, gender, category, NEET PG 2026 score, NEET PG 2026 rank, permanent address and MBBS state. The list includes candidates from different categories, including General, SC, OBC, EWS and ST.

Assam NEET PG 2026: Deadline for candidates missing from merit list
Candidates who are eligible under PG admission rules but whose names are missing from provisional merit list have been directed to submit applications along with relevant documents. The applications should be submitted to the office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, on the second floor, Room No. 5, on or before October 16, 2026, during office hours. Applications received post deadline will not be accepted by DME. Candidates must collect an acknowledgement receipt at the time of submitting their forms.
Assam NEET PG counselling 2026 schedule
There's no separate counselling date in the notice. Date of online counselling for admission into 50% postgraduate seats in the government medical colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I., Guwahati under the Assam State Quota will be as per the schedule published by MCC .

- Open merit list and check the candidate details, including name, NEET PG 2026 roll number, category, score and rank
Candidates should ensure that their name and NEET PG 2026 roll number are included in the provisional merit list to participate in the online counselling.
