AURO University hosts 8th edition of National Budding Hospitality Competition

NBHC 2024: Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management won the National Budding Hospitality Competition.
NEW DELHI: AURO University's School of Hospitality Management hosted the 8th edition of the National Budding Hospitality Competition (NBHC 2024) from January 23 to 25. The completion showcased the talents of budding chefs and young hoteliers from across India.
As per the official statement, various national-level teams including AISSMS College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pune; Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi; Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Parul University, Vadodara; Sheila Raheja Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai; and Vanita Vishram Women’s University, Surat participated in NBHC 2024.
NBHC 2024 featured a range of competitions such as taste of Bharat, mocktail delight, design your room mood, grab n go, thematic cake competition, top of the morning, and idea innovation competition.

After three days of competition, Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management was declared victorious. Sheila Raheja Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai was the first runner-up in the 8th edition of NBHC 2024.
Speaking about the event, Chef Anurag Narsingani, director of Culinary JW Marriott, New Delhi Aerocity, emphasized the importance of culinary knowledge, technology, and a drive for perfection.
The founder of AURO University, Hasmukh P Rama shared the university's core values and emphasized the pursuit of perfection over fame. He stated that in the words of his divine mother “Replace the eagerness for fame with the aspiration for perfection.”
