Download NowNEW DELHI : Declaring Bihar board 12th result 2023 and toppers today, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced cash prizes, laptops, Kindles, along with other benefits for students who topped Bihar board Class 12 exam. Each topper in all three streams – science, commerce, and arts – will receive Rs 1 lakh prize money along with one Kindle e-book reader and one laptop while the second topper will get Rs 75,000 with one Kindle and laptop. The third topper will get Rs 50,000 with a laptop and kindle. Whereas, the fourth, fifth, and sixth toppers in Bihar board Class 12 exam 2023 will get Rs 15,000 and a laptop each. BSEB chairman Anand Kishore announced the prizes for Class 12 students who ranked in the BSEB 12th board exam 2023. Kishore and state education minister professor Chandrashekhar announced the Bihar board 12th result 2023 statistics today.
Bihar Board also announced Rs 25,000 for all unmarried girls who have passed in BSEB Inter exam 2023. Further, BSEB said that there will be a mentoring programme for Bihar Board Class 12 toppers 2023.
This year, girl students have topped Bihar board Class 12 arts, science and commerce streams. Ayushi Nandan ranked first in science stream with 474 marks, Mohaddesa topped arts stream with 475 marks, and Soumya Sharma and Rajnish Kumar Pathak bagged the first position in commerce stream with 475 marks. The overall pass percentage including all three streams of science, commerce and arts is at 83.70%.
A total of 13,04,586 students including 6,36,432 female students and 6,81,795 male students appeared in Bihar board Class 12 exams 2023 which were conducted from February 1 to February 11.
