BITS Pilani direct admission 2024 for Class 12 board toppers begins; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: Birla Institute of Science and Technology Pilani (BITS Pilani) has announced board toppers admission scheme for the academic year 2024-25. The registration for Class 12 board toppers for direct admission into integrated BE, MSc, and BPharmacy is now open on the official website, bitsadmission.com. The last date to apply for BITS direct admission for board toppers 2024 is June 25.

According to the BITS board toppers admission scheme 2024, the first rank holder of physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) stream will be considered for admission to all integrated courses in BITS Pilani. Whereas, the first rank holder of physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB) stream will be considered for admission into BPharmacy programme only.

In case more than one candidate has been declared as the first rank holder by an educational board, BITS Pilani will offer admission to a maximum of four candidates. If more than four students have obtained first rank, the institute will use a tie-breaking method given below in descending order.

• Class 12 mathematics scores
• Scores in Class 12 physics
• Scores in Class 12 chemistry
• Marks obtained in Class 10 mathematics will be considered.
• If the tie still exists, Class 10 science score will be taken into account.

“If the situation warrants, the Admission committee reserves the right to add any additional criteria including a written test, to break the tie. Any such criteria will be announced to the candidates who have applied for admission under this scheme,” it said.

Class 12 toppers 2024 seeking admission at BITS campuses will have to register using a valid mobile number, email address. The last date to register is June 25 up to 5 pm.

They are also required to upload a recent passport size photograph with file size ranging 50-100 KB, scanned copies of first and last page of passport and proof of citizenship, signature with file size between 10-100 KB, and Class 12 marks sheet.
