BPSC exam calendar 2026 out; 72nd CCE prelims on October 25 for 1,189 vacancies

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the exam calendar 2026, with tentative dates for several recruitment examinations. As per the calendar, the 72nd Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on October 25, 2026 for 1,189 vacancies.

The calendar also includes the recruitment schedule for the 71st CCE, TRE 4.0, Assistant Education Development Officer, Auditor, Research Officer, Prosecution Officer, Bihar Judicial Services and several other posts. BPSC has stated that all dates mentioned in the calendar are tentative. Candidates can download the revised calendar from the commission's official website.

BPSC Exam Calendar 2026: 72nd CCE 2026 exam date

The BPSC 72nd CCE preliminary examination is scheduled for October 25, 2026. The calendar mentions 1,189 vacancies for the examination. The BPSC Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 4.0 has been included in the latest exam calendar with 32,388 vacancies. Check the vacancies and exam dates for various examinations here.

BPSC Exam Calendar 2026: 71st CCE result timeline

The 71st Integrated CCE has 1,298 vacancies. Its preliminary examination was held on September 13, 2025, while the result was scheduled for November 2025. The mains examination was listed for April 2026, with the mains result scheduled for August-September 2026.

Other BPSC recruitment exams

The BPSC 2026 calendar also provides updates on several recruitment processes. The Auditor, Panchayati Raj Department examination for 102 posts was held on July 5, 2026, with the result scheduled for August 2026. The Research Officer, Revenue Department exam for three posts was held on July 15, with the result also scheduled for August 2026.

The prosecution officer examination for 300 vacancies was held on July 15, 2026, and its result is scheduled for September 2026. The 33rd Bihar Judicial Services examination for 173 posts was held on May 30, 2026, although the calendar notes a stay order from the Supreme Court. The district sports officer exam document verification is scheduled on August 20.

The Commission has also listed several one-phase examinations, including recruitment for assistant education development officer, assistant professor, special teacher, assistant engineer, assistant town planner and assistant public sanitary and waste management officer.

As per the notice, candidates should note that the BPSC exam calendar 2026 is tentative. The Commission may revise the dates and will issue separate notices for individual examinations.
