Bihar Board Matric exam 2025 begins tomorrow for over 15 lakh; 2-level frisking, entry timings

NEW DELHI : The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will commence the BSEB Class 10 exam for over 15 lakh students across 1,677 exam centres from tomorrow, February 17. BSEB has instructed for 2-levels of frisking at the exam centres and entry timings for students appearing for the exam.
As per the BSEB notice, to ensure transparent and fair exams, arrangements for CCTV, and restrictions for entry of unauthorised persons are instructed. Candidates appearing for the exam must reach the exam centres atleast 30 minutes before the exam begins. The BSEB Bihar Board Class 10th exam will be held in two shifts: the first shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
The Class 10 exam for subjects of mother tongue (Hindi, Urdu, Bangla and Maithili) will be held on the first day exam. A total of 8,18,122 female and 7,67,746 male students have filled out the examination form to appear in the BSEB Bihar Matric exams 2025 .
Additionally, as before, blind and otherwise disabled students who are unable to write themselves are allowed to keep a scribe. Such students will be given 20 minutes extra time per hour in the time fixed for the exam.
BSEB has also instructed students to strictly prohibit wearing shoes and socks in the exam hall. Candidates are advised to wear slippers instead of shoes and socks at the exam centre.
