Meanwhile, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham announced the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE 2025) exam date for phase 1 exams. As per the latest news, the AEEE phase 1 exams 2025 will be held on February 1 and 2. Amrita university also extended the registration deadline to January 20 and announced that it will hold the entrance exam in two phases - February and April.

As per reports, the JEE Main is likely to replace the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), however, there is no official confirmation yet.
Universities such as SRM University, BITS Pilani, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) also hold separate entrance exams for offering BTech seats in their campuses. Besides SRMJEEE 2025, BITSAT 2025, VITEEE 2025 score, these universities will also consider JEE Main 2025 results, but the weightage for the IIT JEE exam will be less compared to their own entrance exam.

To appear for the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT 2025) for BE and BTech programs, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates should have passed the Class 12 board exam or an equivalent exam from a recognized board, with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
