‘Cancel offline exams’: Class 10, 12 disappointed students campaign on Twitter, #CBSE trends

NEW DELHI: Students are not happy with the Supreme Court’s decision on board exams 2022 in which it dismissed plea seeking cancellation of offline exams and direction to CBSE, state boards to adopt alternate mode of assessment for Classes 10, 12. They have started campaigning on Twitter with hashtag #CBSE urging the board to cancel offline exams.

Students asked on social media if classes were conducted online, how can board exams be held offline? Students also asked PM Modi to help them.

A student wrote on Twitter, “#ModijiHelpBoardStudents2022 Even,the Honourable Supreme Court is facing Connectivity Issue,then how can we expect quality education in last 2years in online mode? #CBSE children were home for last 2years With hardly any quality education then why asked to give Offline Boards?

Another student talking about the mental health of students said, “#CBSE why can't CBSE Or any other board thinks about the mental health of the student why? I think in India just exam is everything board doesn't give a damm about the health the student are suffering from.”

Another student tweeted, “Thanks supreme court you just increased the suicide rate of students. Congratulations! Meanwhile, a class 10 student, who was apparently under stress over his exams being conducted offline, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur city, police said on Wednesday.
