NEW DELHI : Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad released the CAT notification along with the list of test cities. CAT 2021 will be held on November 28 at over 420 test centres in 158 cities across the country. At the time of CAT registration 2021, candidates can select six test cities as per their convenience and preference.

CAT application form 2021 was released on August 4 at IIM CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with 50 percent aggregate marks are eligible to apply for CAT 2021. Rs 2200 is the CAT application fee for the General and unreserved category and Rs 1100 for the reserved category.

CAT Registration 2021: Steps to fill the form
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM CAT i.e. iimcat.ac.in to create a CAT 2021 login
Step 2 : Then, click on the 'Registered Candidate Login' and fill in the details in the CAT application form 2021.
Step 3: CAT 2021 applicants will have to fill in details such as personal details, academic qualifications, work experience, programmes, test city of preference must be filled.
Step 4 : Pay the requisite IIM CAT application fee using online payment gateways.
Step 5: Save the acknowledgment receipt of CAT 2021 application form for future reference.
CAT 2021 will be conducted at all the designated centres in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Government of India. Social distancing, temperature check by using thermo gun, and sanitation will be followed at all the CAT exam centres during all three sessions. Candidates will have to wear a triple-layered face mask throughout the exam and candidates are allowed to carry their own drinking water and personal hand sanitizer inside the CAT exam centre.
This year, IIM Ahmedabad has added two more test cities for CAT 2021. Added CAT test cities are Madgaon (Goa) and Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh).
CAT 2021: Points to be kept in mind for selecting test cities

Candidates are allowed to select six test cities from the list of 158 CAT test cities

CAT test cities 2021 are to be selected and filled in the application form in the order of preference, starting from first to sixth

IIM CAT 2021 test centre will be allotted on the basis of availability

If the preferred CAT test city is not available, then the second preference will be allotted to the candidate
CAT 2021: List of test cities
Each of these CAT 2021 test cities will have several CAT exam centres. The CAT 2021 admit card will carry the details of the allotted CAT exam centre 2021. The candidates can check the list of CAT exam cities 2021 from the table below and fill in the application form.

About CAT 2021
IIMs annually conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) on a rotational basis for admission to MBA/ PGDM programmes at IIMs and other top B-Schools.Over 1000 MBA colleges accept IIM CAT exam scores. CAT 2021 will be conducted as a computer-based test, wherein both MCQs and non-MCQs will be asked.
