NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, will be conducting CAT 2022 on November 27, 2022. CAT registration 2022 to begin on August 3. No major changes have been made to the CAT exam this year. As per the CAT 2022 notification , the MBA entrance exam will be held in three sessions of 2 hours each on a single day and questions will be asked from three sections namely, Quantitative ability, Verbal ability and reading comprehension, and Data interpretation and logical reasoning. IIM CAT 2022 paper pattern will be on the same lines as that of last year.

CAT 2022: What changed this year
As per the CAT exam 2022 notification, IIM Bangalore is convening CAT 2022, and some changes have been made to the CAT exam.

The CAT registration fee has increased from Rs 1,100 to Rs 1,150 for SC/ ST category students and Rs 2,200 to Rs 2,300 for general category students .

The number of CAT entrance test cities has been reduced to 150 this year
IIM CAT registration 2022
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, will release the CAT application form 2022 on August 3. The CAT form can be filled out at the CAT 2022 registration portal till September 14. CAT exam form can be filled online only at the CAT 2022 official website - iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can refer to the following steps for filling CAT 2022 application.

Go to the CAT 2022 official website.

Fill in all the required details in the CAT exam registration form to generate CAT login credentials.

Re-login and fill out the CAT exam form by entering the valid details.

Upload requisite documents and pay the CAT exam fee

Finally, submit the CAT 2022 application form and take a printout of it for future reference.
CAT 2022: Important points to note

CAT 2022 will be conducted at over 350+ centres spread across 150 test cities in India on November 27, 2022.

The format of the CAT exam paper is the same as that of the previous year. Candidates will be given 40 minutes for each section, and PwD candidates will get 13 minutes and 20 seconds extra for each section.

Candidates are advised to check the CAT 2022 mock test/ tutorials on the official CAT website which will be available from the last week of October.
