Download EbookNEW DELHI: The Indian Institution of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has issued the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 admit card today, November 5. Interested and registered candidates can download the CAT 2024 admit card by visiting the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates will require their registration ID and password to download the CAT 2024 admit card.

CAT 2024 exam will be held on November 24. The CAT 2024 exam will be held in three shifts – first shift will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The CAT 2024 exam will be held in online mode. The CAT 2024 admit card mentions details such as name, registration number, exam date, slot, center details, photo and signature.
CAT 2024 exam pattern
The CAT 2024 exam will have three sections - verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA). There will be a total of 66 questions in the CAT 2024 paper. As per CAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will get 3 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
After CAT results are announced, IIMs shortlist candidates based on entrance test scores, academic records, and work experience. The IIM selection process also include a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and a Personal Interview (PI) to assess communication and critical thinking skills.

CAT 2024 Admit Card Out: Documents to carry on exam day
Candidates appearing for CAT 2024 are required to carry the following documents to the exam center:
- Valid photo ID proof: A government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License. The ID are required to match the details on the admit card.
- Passport-sized photograph: A recent passport-sized photo (preferably the same one used for the CAT application) as a backup in case of any issues with the admit card photograph.
- Admit card printout: The CAT 2024 admit card is required to be printed clearly and in color, showing all details, including the photo and signature.
