NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 today in three sessions. The exam conducting authorities have issued a few guidelines which every student must follow before appearing for the CAT exam. Candidates appearing for the exam must also be aware of the CAT exam timings 2024 so that they do not miss out on anything. They are advised to check their seat arrangement upon arriving at the exam centre. To avoid any inconvenience for reaching the exam centre, candidates are advised to reach at least half-an-hour before their CAT shift timing.
Candidates must carry their CAT admit card 2024 with them along with a transparent ballpoint pen, an additional photograph (for the attendance sheet) and a personal transparent water bottle. To know more about the things to carry at the exam centre check the details given below:
Carry admit card
Candidates must carry a hard copy of the admit card, or else, candidates without a hard copy of the CAT hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. Candidates must also fill in all the details on the admit card and make sure the signature and photograph printed on the admit card are legible. Details such as the candidate’s name, PwD status, date and day of the test, registration number, reporting time at the centre, test centre address, test city and session etc will be mentioned on the admit card.

A valid photo ID proof
Candidates must carry at least one photo ID as identity proof. Candidates must also make sure the photograph and signature provided on the ID proof should be visible. Candidates can carry any of the mentioned below documents as identity proof for the examination centre:
A medical certificate if applicable
Candidates having pacemakers, implants (metal), or other devices for any medical reasons must have a medical certificate for the same.
