Use NowNEW DELHI : After much confusion over results, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has finally declared the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 result for 2.93 lakh candidates who wrote the test. Candidates were awarded three marks for each correct response. There was negative marking for wrong answers. The exam authorities used a normalisation method to convert candidates’ raw scores into CAT 2024 percentile. The participating B-schools will announce the CAT 2024 cut-offs separately.
The IIMs will now release their shortlists to admit students to their MBA programmes based on the CAT 2024 scores. 91 non-IIM institutions will also use CAT percentile 2024 this year for admission into their management programmes.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the CAT scorecard 2024.
- Visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the CAT result link on the homepage.
- Enter user id and password.
- CAT result 2024 and scorecard will be displayed.
- Download the scorecard and take a printout
CAT exam 2024 was conducted on November 24 in three shifts – slot 1 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, slot 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and slot 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Around 3.29 lakh candidates applied for the MBA entrance exam while 2.93 lakh aspirants wrote the test.
