Over the years, several IIM alumni have emerged as market leaders, serving the top positions in renowned firms or ditching the campus placements to start their own ventures. Naukri.com, MakeMyTrip, Swiggy, Bharatpe are some of the A-list companies in MBA universe founded or co-founded by IIM alumni while Deep Kalra, Indra Nooyi, Peyush Bansal are among the successful entrepreneurs who produced the million-dollar business ideas.

Notably, the IIMs behind the well-known enterprises and business tycoons are IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore , and IIM Calcutta. The IIMs admit students to their postgraduate programmes through the Common Admission Test (CAT). This year’s CAT exam was held on November 24.
CAT 2024 answer key is already out and done with. Now, MBA aspirants are awaiting CAT 2024 results , which IIM Calcutta will tentatively announce in January 2025 second week.
