Use NowNEW DELHI, OCTOBER 24: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta will release the CAT admit card 2018 today, i.e. October 24, 2018. The admit cards of CAT will be available for download on iimcat.ac.in from 1 PM onwards.

In order the CAT hall ticket, candidates must visit the CAT official website and login with their registration number and password. The registration number of CAT is the same as the one sent to the registered email ID and the password is the one sent to the registered mobile number at the time of filling the application. The admit card tab will contain the link to download the PDF of the document. It is a must to carry the CAT admit card 2018 to the test centre on CAT exam day, failing which candidates will be barred from taking the test. The link to download the hall ticket will remain active until the day of examination. However, it is advisable to download and take a sufficient number of print copies well in advance in order to avoid last minute hassle.
Candidates must scan the admit card for any errors. In case of any discrepancies found on the CAT admit card such as name mismatch, date of birth mismatch, candidates must contact the exam authority at the earliest for rectification.

IIM Calcutta will conduct the CAT 2018 on November 25, 2018 (Sunday) in online mode in two slots under the convenorship of Prof. Sumanta Basu. The exam pattern of CAT 2018 states that it will be a computer-based test of three hours carrying a total of 100 objective questions divided into three sections -

Verbal Ability & Reading Compression (VARC) - 34 Questions

Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR) - 32 Questions

Quantitative Ability (QA) - 34 Questions
The exam will be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes. It must be noted that exactly 60 minutes will be allotted for answering each section and switching from one section to another is not permitted.
The test centres of CAT 2018 will be spread across 147 cities in India. More than 2.41 lakh candidates have applied for CAT 2018. As many as 20 IIMs and over 100 B-schools across India are CAT participating institutes , i.e. they accept CAT score for their admission process.
