Let Mean = M3 and SD = S3, and G3 = M3 + S3.

Step 4: Calculate the mean and the standard deviation (SD) of the raw scores in a section for all candidates who appeared in the CAT 2024.

Let Mean = M and SD = S, and G = M + S.

Step 5: Calculate the mean raw score in a section of the top 0.1% candidates in the morning session and denote it by M1 0.1

Step 6: Calculate the mean raw score in a section of the top 0.1% candidates in the afternoon session and denote it by M2 0.1

Step 7: Calculate the mean raw score in a section of top 0.1% candidates in the evening session and denote it by M3 0.1

Step 7: Calculate the mean raw score in a section of top 0.1% candidates in the exam and denote it by M 0.1

In case XYZ is a candidate who appeared in the morning session and his/her raw score in a section is R. Then the scaled score of XYZ in that section, say ^R given by;

A similar methodology is applied for the calculation of scaled scores for all the sections. If this formula yields any scaled score of more than 100, it will be rounded down to 100.

The CAT percentile will be calculated as follows:

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will admit students to its PGP programmes through the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. The institute has revised the MBA admission criteria for the academic session 2025-26. Accordingly, the weightage of Class 12 scores has been increased from 15% to 20% while Class 10 weightage has been reduced from 25% to 15% for IIM Kozhikode PGP admissions. The weightage of CAT 2024 scores is the same as last year, 35%.
