CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has concluded the Class 12 Maths board exam 2026 today, March 9. The examination was conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm in a single shift across designated centres.

The CBSE Class 12 Maths exam 2026 was conducted for a total of 100 marks, including an 80-mark theory paper and 20 marks allotted for internal assessment. The three-hour examination focused on competency-based and concept-driven questions, moving beyond rote memorisation.
As per the question paper pattern, the exam covered major chapters from the CBSE syllabus. Majority of the questions were asked from the following topics:
Relations and Functions
Algebra
Calculus
Vectors and Three-Dimensional Geometry
Linear Programming
Probability
Students had been advised to reach their examination centres by 9:30 am. The board also provided 15 minutes of reading time from 10:15 am to 10:30 am, allowing candidates to carefully review the question paper before beginning to write their answers. As per CBSE rules, entry to the examination hall closed at 10:00 am, and no student was allowed to enter after the specified time.
To pass the CBSE Board Exams 2026, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject, including the theory, practical, and internal assessment components. For subjects that involve practical work, candidates must also pass both the theory and practical sections separately and obtain a minimum Grade D.

Updates regarding the CBSE Class 12 Maths answer key and paper analysis will be shared shortly as the exam is over. The Central Board of Secondary Education does not release official answer keys for board examinations. However, coaching institutes and subject experts will share the paper analysis and unofficial answer key shortly. Students can evaluate their performances based on these paper analysis and answer keys.
