CBSE Class 12 physical education paper ‘simple, well-balanced’; Students, teachers analyse

NEW DELHI: The CBSE Class 12 physical education exam was conducted today, March 13 between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The physical education exam was held for 70 marks. Students who took the exam found the questions in the physical education Class 12 paper simple and well-balanced.

Saying that Class 12th physical education exam paper was average, Neeru Batra, Head Academic Administration, Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said: “Out of 70 marks 10 marks of questions were above average.Good choice of questions. The case study and competencies-based questions were included. Students were happy with the paper.”

CBSE 12th Physical Education Analysis: Section-wise

Saying that the level of difficulty of physical education paper was moderate, PHE teacher KIIT World School Gurugram Amar Singh said: “The CBSE Class 12 Physical Education paper was simple and well-balanced. The physical education paper had five sections. All five sections in the paper were relatively easy.”

“As per students, the level of difficulty was moderate. The question paper was a balanced mix of knowledge, analysis, and application-based questions. Most of the students were able to complete the paper well in time and also could save some time for revision,” Singh added.

• Section A part was not tricky but the questions were value-based
• Section B was simple with direct answers in sets 1 and 2. However, in Set 3 a few questions were easy.
• Section C was inference based. Section C was easy but it expected the learner to have a thorough knowledge of the topics as well as subtopics used in the text.
• Section D was lengthy carrying four marks each. Questions required the resolute focus of the students
• Section E was easy to handle long-answer questions effectively, the questions were value-based.
