Over 1.5 crore answer sheets will be transferred from these assessment centres to the homes of teachers for evaluation. The process will be completed in approximately 50 days.

“I am confident that we will evaluate 1.5 crore answer sheets of 173 subjects soon and as soon as the examinations of 29 subjects are completed between July 1 and 15, the results will be declared soon after their evaluation,” he wrote further.

Pokhriyal expressed his gratitude to the MHA for helping in providing the 3,000 CBSE schools which will help in speeding up the evaluation process

The ministry will grant special permission for the "limited purpose" of evaluation to these 3000 assessment centres. A notice released by the ministry said: "There will no restriction in transporting answer sheets to the residences of evaluators except in areas falling in containment zone,"

There are 16 regional offices of CBSE which will be operating without restriction.

The dates of result declaration are yet to be announced. He also directed the states to begin evaluation of the CBSE exams that have already been conducted.
