Once the result is out, students can check it on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. To access the scores, candidates need to enter the login details, including roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.

The examinations took place between May 15 and May 21, 2026. This was the second round of board examinations conducted under CBSE's newly implemented dual-exam framework, which came into effect from the 2026 academic year.
The second phase of CBSE board examinations witnessed significant participation from students nationwide, with approximately 6.7 lakh applications submitted. Of these, more than 5.25 lakh candidates enrolled to improve their previous scores, while over 85,000 students registered for compartment examinations. A section of candidates also appeared under both categories.

To download the CBSE class 10 second exam result, students can follow the steps given below:
- Open the official CBSE results portal at cbse.gov.in
- Select the link for Class 10 Board Exam 2026 (second phase) results
- Log in by providing the roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth
- Verify the entered details and click on the submit button
- Your digital marksheet will be displayed on the screen
- Download the scorecard and retain a copy for admission and academic purposes
Students can also check their CBSE provisional marksheet 2026 using SMS and digilocker. The examination schedule commenced with the Mathematics paper and subsequently included a wide range of subjects such as English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Social Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Home Science, various regional languages, and vocational courses.

CBSE implemented the second session of the Class 10 board examinations for the first time in 2026 as part of its revamped assessment framework. The new model provides students with an additional chance to enhance their scores and successfully clear subjects they could not pass in the first board examination conducted earlier in the academic year.
