CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 Live Updates: Check term 1 sample paper, answer key, date sheet

A student on Twitter said: "#CBSE it's very unfair. Today's sst paper was bit difficult and confusing and errors in it. Last 2yrs almost every1 got so much advantages, even didn't appear any exam, still they got  almost full marks in all .then why so strict and confusing pattern of qs for this yr students?"

CBSE commenced Class 10 term-1 exams today with social science subject. More than 21 lakh students sat for exam, according to an official statement.

CBSE has started Class 10 term 1 exams 2021 for major subjects today. 33 lakh OMR sheets at over 13,000 centres have been checked the same day, it said in an official statement.

As per CBSE passing criteria, students should obtain a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass the class 10th exam.

"One has to read the NCERT book thoroughly and I would say the questions are less from sample papers etc. But this is the first time that CBSE is conducting such an exam.  I believe from the next batch onward that is those who will be appearing next year onward will not have much of a problem because by then there will be sample question papers based on the present format," said Ayush

The Somaiya School Principal Parveen Shaikh said, "The CBSE has created a very user friendly system for conducting the exams for grades 10and 12. They have trained the heads for the same and it is happening very seamlessly. All the queries are getting resolved quickly and there is ample support from the CBSE city coordinator. I personally feel, this should be the norm for future as well. The social science paper had a good mix of questions catering to all kinds of students. Students are happy with the offline examination.  They are comfortable with having the examination in school. After this paper, students are confident for the remaining papers.

As per a report of India Today, Soumi Basu, a senior teacher of Political Science said that an average students should be able to score 55 out of 80 in the theory paper.

As per NDTV Seema Behl, Principal, Brain International School said, "The paper was easy and balanced. The stress was given on History section, however, equal weightage provided on other sections. Question number 40 in the paper has same choices, and the langugae in some questions were bit twisted."

If the board released social science answer key then it will be available on cbse official website, cbse.gov.in. Students can also download unofficial CBSE answer key 2021 class 10 from various coaching's official website.

CBSE concluded the Social Science exam. The paper consists four sections as Section-A had 24 questions and out of them, students needed to attempt only 20 questions. In section B, students had to attempt 18 questions out of 22 questions. In section C, only 10 questions must be answered out of 12 questions. Section D consisted of 2 map-based compulsory questions.

The board has concluded the first term 1 CBSE Class 10 major paper exam today at 1 pm. CBSE Class 10 board exam 2021 term 1 for second major subject will be conducted for Science on December 2, 2021.

There were a total of 60 questions out of them students need to attempt 50 questions.

Section-wise breakup:

• Section-A had 24 questions and out of them, students needed to attempt only 20 questions.
• In section B, students had to attempt 18 questions out of 22 questions.
• In section C, only 10 questions must be answered out of 12 questions.
• Section D consisted of 2 map-based compulsory questions.

According to Swapnil Gupta, a class 10 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Masjid Moth, "The paper was balanced, the questions were not at all tough. One who solved NCERT well, can expect a good score," NDTV reported.

CBSE Class 10 students waiting for Social Science answer key to cross check the answers. The board will release the answer key or result in January 2022, tentatively. Till then, students can check the answers from the unofficial answer key of social science, which will be released by various coaching centers.

As per CBSE Class 10 term 1 date sheet, the board will conduct Hindustani Music (Vocal), Hindustani Music (Mel Ins), and Hindustani Music (Per Ins) exam tomorrow i.e. December 1, 2021.

As per CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2021-22 term 1, the next major exam will held on December 2, 2021. Students will be appearing for Science exam at 11:30 am. Students can download CBSE Class 10th time table 2021-22 term 1 from here.

CBSE Class 10 social science exam has concluded today. The first paper of CBSE term 1 exam started at 11:30 am. Check paper analysis here .

The CBSE term 1 Social Science exam will conclude at 1 pm. Students will be able to check CBSE answer key 2021 class 10 from various coaching centers that will be uploaded on their official website soon after the exam.

As per CBSE Class 10 board exams datesheet the next major exam will be conducted on December 2, 2021. Students will be appearing for Science exam.

20% of the total OMRs are to be re-checked by the coordinators.

In such case, CBSE said that evaluators will consider questions from no 1 to 50 or the number of questions that are to be attempted. The extra attempts by students (that is question no 51 to 60 or additional questions answered) will not be considered.

CBSE Class 10th board exam term 2 will be commence in March-April 2022 at the end of the second term. The term 2 exam duration will be of two hours, the question paper will have case-based/situation-based, open-ended- short answer/ long answer type questions. In addition, the board may conduct a 90 minutes long MCQ-based exam.

• Candidates are advised that first of all they should mark the response by darkening the circle. If fully satisfied then they should write a response in a box. Purpose of giving a box is only that if any candidate wishes to change the response, the same be written in the box.
• Even if a candidate is satisfied with darkening the circle, this response has to be written in the box. Candidates have to reply both in a circle and in a box.
• Reply written in the box will be treated as final.
• If the box is empty and the response is marked in the circle, it will be considered that the Question has not been attempted by the candidate.
• If the response is given in a box and the circle is left blank, it will be considered that the Question has been attempted by the candidate.
• If all the three i.e. four circles, box and last circle are left blank, it will be considered that the question has not been attempted.

CBSE term 1 admit cards can be accessed on cbse.gov.in. To access the CBSE term 1 admit cards, students will have to use their user ids and passwords.

CBSE 10th term 1 exam will start at 11:30 am and will be concluded at 1 pm. The CBSE Class 10th exam 2021 will have MCQ based questions including case-based MCQs and MCQs on assertion-reasoning type.

Candidates must carry the Class 10 CBSE admit card 2021. Carry a blue or black ballpoint pen to fill in the response on the CBSE OMR sheet.

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education.

• There is a space for answering 60 questions in an OMR irrespective of the total questions given in the Question Papers of any subject. Candidates will use maximum circles as per total questions given in the Question Paper for giving responses. This should be only in serial.
• Answers given after the maximum question number will not be evaluated. Meaning thereby, if there are 45 questions in some Question Papers and the candidate is changing Question no 46 in OMR and writing this question as 45 and then giving the answer, it will not be evaluated.
• For giving a response, 4 circles i.e. (a), (b),(c),& (d) are given in front of each question in a row. Candidates once confident about the correctness of reply should darken the circle with a pen.
• After four circles are over, a box is given in the same row. Candidates have to write the correct option in this box.
• After the box, a circle is given, which contains the question number. This circle is to be darkened by the candidates if they have not attempted this question.

Students must follow the dress code to avoid any inconvenience in CBSE 10th board exam 2021.

• The clothes must not have very big buttons.
• There must be no brooch or flower or badge.
• The candidates must wear trousers for boys and salwar for girls.

• Do not wear any sort of accessories.
• Do not wear a wrist watch.
• Do not wear any bracelets.

The CBSE 10th term-1 exams will be conducted for 90 minutes and it is a objective type exam. Due to winter season, the exam will start at 11:30 am. CBSE will be conducting exam for 50 per cent of the rationalised CBSE syllabus.

• In the last few minutes, refer to NCERT books to see through all topics quickly. These books provide crisp and to the point information, that can be really beneficial for a quick revision.

• Do not start any new topic right before the exam. It may lead to confusion. It is better for students to only revise the previously studied material.

• Since the CBSE exam pattern is changed for the current academic year, hence students must get themselves acquainted with the latest changes through the sample papers.

CBSE will use OMR sheet for the both Classes 10, 12 Term-1 exams.

• OMR sheet will be pre-filled with the details of the candidates.
• The students need to write a Question Paper Code in the space provided in the upper right corner of the sheet. Question Paper Code will be written on the Question Paper.
• Students will have to write in their own hand in the space provided: "I confirm that all particulars given above are correct" and sign in the running hand on OMR.
• Only blue or black ball point pen is to be used for filling desired information and for giving responses.
• Use of pencil is strictly prohibited. If it is found that the candidate has used the pencil for filling OMR, this will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate as per unfair means rules.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released Class 10 sample papers for the term 1 exams. Students can check and download the CBSE 10th sample paper 2021 from the official website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

Students must follow the below given important guidelines for CBSE board exam Class 10 term 1.

• No students will be allowed in the exam hall without the CBSE 10th admit card 2021-22.

• Using any unfair means is strictly prohibited in the exam hall.

• Read the instructions carefully given on CBSE Class 10 admit card downloaded PDF file.

• Students are only allowed to use blue/black ballpoint pens in the answer sheet.

• No electronic gadgets such as calculators or mobile phones will be allowed in the examination hall.

The Central Board of Secondary Education already released the Class 10 admit card 2021 term 1, on November 9, 2021. Students should download the CBSE Class 10th hall ticket available on CBSE official website cbse.nic.in. No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the CBSE admit card. Also, students must check complete CBSE 10th date sheet 2021 before appearing for exams.

The CBSE 10th question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), which includes case-based MCQs and MCQs on the assertion-reasoning type. The CBSE Class 10 exam will be of 90 minutes. The marks will be considered as the overall marks of the student in Term I.

On October 18, 2021 the board released the CBSE Class 10 exam date sheet. The CBSE 10th date sheet is available on board’s official website, cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Class 10 exam 2021 will start from today i.e. November 30 and will conclude on December 11, 2021.

Students will get the answer sheet at 11 am. CBSE Class 10th question paper will be issued to students at 11:10 to 11:30 am.  The CBSE 10th exam writing start time is 11:30 am.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has started Class 10th minor exams from November 17, 2021. The CBSE 10th minor exams will conclude on December 7, 2021.
