CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam 2021 Live Updates: Check term 1 exam answer key, exam analysis, marking scheme

CBSE chemistry paper's section A and C were easy. while section B had some tough questions. Students who had prepared from NCERT textbook would have found it easy and balanced.As compared to Maths and accountancy, the paper is said to be easy and relief for the students, reports NDTV.

The official CBSE Class 12 chemistry answer key is sent to the exam centres. They download it and evaluate the OMR sheets through it. The unofficial answer key is provided by subject experts and teachers for reference purposes. 

CBSE 12th chemistry exam marking scheme along with Class 12 sample paper chemistry is available on the official CBSE website,cbseacademic.nic.in. Students can go through the CBSE sample paper 2021 and get to know the marks scheme and other details. 

In case a student found any discrepancy in the CBSE 12th chemistry questions paper 2021, then they can contact their respective exam centres with their concerns. The exam centres will forward the concern to the CBSE Board. 

Seema Behl, principal, Brain International School, said CBSE Class 12 chemistry as moderate to easy paper. However, question number 32 was lengthy as per the marks allotted.

Spokesperson: Mr. Naman Jain, Education Policy Expert, and Director Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said, from teacher's perspective: The Paper was balanced and NCERT based. From student's perspective: Students were satisfied as they were expecting tricky questions. However, the paper was based on CBSE sample paper.

Nishant Kumar, PGT Chemistry, Mount Abu Public School, Rohini said that the Class 12 Chemistry paper was easy and followed the pattern of NCERT. "The paper was easy and scoring. There were as such no such difficulties in the paper and options were not at all confusing. Equal weightage was provided to every sections- Organic, Inorganic and Physical. Only two numerical questions were there, and were easy to solve." The average students can easily score above 30 out of total 35 marks, the teacher said.

The last paper of CBSE Class 12 accountancy had some errors so the board will provide extra marks up to 6 marks in that subject. For the chemistry exam, the answer key of CBSE class 12 is yet to be provided.

However, the official CBSE Class 12 chemistry answer key 2021-22 will be provided to exam centres only. But students can use CBSE unofficial Class 12 chemistry answer key 2021-22 for calculating their probable scores.  

CBSE has concluded the 10th major exam of CBSE Class 12 term 1 2021-22 for chemistry subject today at 1 pm. It was commenced at 11:30. Students are coming out of their exam centres and soon they will share their experiences and reactions. Check upcoming exam date.

After awarding extra marks in the English exam, CBSE has decided to award extra marks up to 6 marks in the CBSE Class 12 accountancy paper as there were errors in the question paper.  Students and teachers raised complaints that the paper was difficult and had some questions out of syllabus. Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to conduct CBSE Class 12 chemistry exam 2021-22 within an hour. It will be held in offline mode through OMR sheets and will conclude at 1 pm. Check exam pattern and marking scheme.

There will be no negative marking scheme in CBSE 12th class chemistry exam 2021-22. So, no marks will be deducted for any wrong or unattempted answers. Students will get marks only for their correct options filled in the OMR sheet.

CBSE 12th chemistry exam 2021 will contain a total of three sections: Section A, B and C.

• Section A has 25 questions, out of them, students need to attempt any 20 questions.
• Section B has 24 questions, out of them, students need to attempt any 20 questions.
• Section C has 6 questions, out of them, students need to attempt any 5 questions.
