CBSE 12th Result 2025: More Class 12 students cleared the CBSE board exams 2025 this year with a 0.41% increase in pass rate. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12 results 2025. Students can download their Class 12th results 2025 on the official website, cbse.gov.in and access marksheets on Digilocker. While the board doesn't announce CBSE 12th toppers, candidates can check school-wise high scorers here.

Students can access CBSE 12th result 2025 using their roll number, school number, and ID. The online marksheet mentions students' academic year, name, class, subjects, passing marks in each subject, along with their qualifying status.
CBSE Class 12 exams 2025 were held from February 15 to April 4. If students find any discrepancy in their marksheet, they are advised to contact the school authorities immediately. The board will also announce the toppers' list along with the results.
The CBSE board recently issued a 6-digit access code for activation of students' DigiLocker accounts. Students can activate their DigiLocker accounts and access digital academic documents under the ‘Issued Documents’ section.
The steps to access CBSE Class 12 results 2025 are as follows.
Students who are not able to qualify for the CBSE Class 12 board 2025 exam in the first attempt can apply for supplementary exams, which will be held tentatively in July 2025. Students will have to submit Rs 200 per subject to sit for for supplementary exam.

In CBSE 12th results 2025, Shiv Nadar School recorded 100%. Praneel Munshi topped the CBSE Board exams 2025 with 98.80% in science stream. 21.10% students scored 95% and above.
Number of students with 100% marks in CBSE Class 12 results 2025:
At SAI International School, Dhiraj Dhanuka topped the commerce stream in CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 with 98.8%. Anoushka Panda emerged as the humanities topper with 98.2%, while N Shreya Amolika led the Science stream with 98%.
100% of students scored above 60 percent, with 20.27% securing more than 95 percent, 44.6% achieving above 90 percent, and 91.5% scoring more than 75 percent. The school average stood at a remarkable 88.80%, with stream-wise averages of 88.28% in science, 89.08% in commerce, and 89.05% in humanities.
At Orchid The International School, Khushi Tayal and Henrika Chaudhary in commerce), Manya Jain and Mayank Daihya in humanities scored 97%, 96.80%, 97% and 95.4% respectively in CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025.

Naisha Manchanda, from ITL Public School, Dwarka, passed CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 with 99.6% marks and scored perfect 100 in economics, psychology, and sociology subjects. 100% students passed in 1st division while 25 students scored perfect 100 in different subjects. The average pass percentage of school stands at 90.7%. Students have scored perfect 100 in English, mathematics, computer science, economics , psychology, sociology, painting, yoga, fashion studies.
Ritika Barat, a student of Ryan International School, Kandivli, passed with distinction in the CBSE Class 12 Board exams 2025, while also clearing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025. Diagnosed with an ovarian tumour, Ritika has been undergoing continuous treatment while preparing for exams. Despite her health challenges, she secured 92.8% in Class 10 and followed it up with 97.60% in Class 12.
"Her journey has been marked by immense perseverance and quiet strength, supported by a strong ecosystem of encouragement from her parents, teachers, and school authorities. Through the uncertainties of her illness and the rigours of academic pressure, Ritika continued her learning with dedication, focusing on her dream of becoming an engineer," the school said in an official statement.
Navya Shukla from Amity International School Delhi has topped the PCB stream with 97.2% marks.
This year, Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada has secured the top place, marking the highest pass percentage at 99.60% among all the regions. A total of 11,903 students registered for the CBSE 12th exam 2025 in Andhra Pradesh, out of which 11,852 appeared for the exam. A total of 11,794 students qualified in the Andhra Pradesh state for the CBSE 12th exam.
CBSE Board introduced competency-based questions, which included MCQs, case-study-based questions, source-based integrated questions, and others. The remaining 50% have response-type questions and short, long answer-type questions. As per the board, the change in the exam pattern has yielded results, marking a significant increase in the pass percentage at 93.66%. Previous year, the CBSE board Class 12 pass percentage was 87.98%.

Students who have failed in one or two subjects can apply for supplementary exams, which will be held likely in the first week of July. To pass the exam, students should secure at least 33% marks to pass the board exams.

Vijayawada region is the top-performing region with 99.60% for the CBSE Class 12th exams, whereas Trivandrum has dropped to second place this year. Guwahatihas also showed improvement in CBSE 12th exam passing marks this year.
Students who apply for the verification of their marks can apply for re-evaluation for any question(s) in the first week of June 2025, once the dates are announced by the board. Students can apply online for re-evaluation for theory papers only, and have to pay Rs 100 per question as a processing fee.
Students who applied for a photocopy of the marksheet and found a discrepancy in the marks awarded can apply for the CBSE 12th verification process. The date and link for verification will be made available online on the official CBSE website soon in the last week of May 2025.
The CBSE Class 12th supplementary exam will be conducted in the first or second week of July 2025, and it will be held on the same syllabus as the main examinations 2025 were conducted.
Students have to use their roll number, school number, and admit card ID to download the CBSE board result 2025.

A total of 14,96,307 students have qualified Class 12th board exams 2025 this year.
