NEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct CBSE Class 12 term 1 exam for minor subjects from today, November 16, 2021. As per the CBSE date sheet 2021, the minor exam for Class 12 will conclude on December 30, 2021.

The CBSE board is conducting the first paper for Class 12 term 1 minor exam for Entrepreneurship, Beauty and Wellness subjects. CBSE Class 12 term 1 exam for major subjects will be held from December 1 to December 22, 2021.
Meanwhile, CBSE Class 10 term 1 exam for minor subjects will be held from tomorrow, November 17, 2021. The CBSE term 1 exam for Class 10 minor subjects will end on December 7, 2021. For major subjects, the board exams will be held from November 30 to December 11, 2021.
Exam guidelines

The CBSE board exams for Class 10 and 12 will be held for a total of 189 subjects which includes 75 subjects of Class 10 and 114 subjects of Class 12.

Students appearing for the CBSE term 1 exams must carry their CBSE 12th admit card on the exam day. Without it, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

This year, CBSE is conducting Class 10 and 12 board exams in two terms. Students will be given 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes for reading the question paper. The CBSE board exams will have multiple-choice questions with 90 minutes duration.

The CBSE term 1 board exam 2021 will be OMR based. Students have to encircle the correct one in an OMR sheet. They must use a blue or black ball-point pen to fill their responses in the OMR sheet.
