CBSE to hold counselling on entrance exams, careers for principals, counsellors in Shahjahanpur on Dec 30

The CBSE-led event will be held at Seth MR Jaipuria School from 10 am to 2 pm. Participants are requested to arrive by 9:30 am for pre-programme formalities.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct orientation sessions on entrance exams and career pathways for principals and counsellors of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh region on December 30, 2025. The initiative aims to equip participants with updated career guidance strategies in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Principals, vice principals, and counsellors of CBSE-affiliated schools in Shahjahapur (UP) regions can register for the orientation event through a google form - forms.gle/MgA3YdWTdYUYz1Li9.
There are limited seats and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must note that confirmation emails will be sent to selected ones.

Career guidance strategies in line with NEP 2020
Notably, there is no registration fee for the orientation programme. “However, travel and accommodation expenses (TA/DA) are to be borne by the participants themselves,” the board said through an official notification.
“The career guidance strategies in line with the NEP 2020 emphasises the need for strong counseling systems to support students’ aspirations and informed decision-making,” it added.
The event will equip principals and counselors with tools for student guidance. They will also be shared with opportunities related to internships, scholarships, and higher education.
It also aims to enhance awareness of diverse and emerging career pathways.
