NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a public alert against some of the private publisher’s websites offering to access the CBSE board exam practice papers for Class 10 and Class 12.

The board said, “ It has come to the notice of the board that schools and students are being asked to access the CBSE practice papers from certain private publisher's sites. The public is advised not to be misled by any claims and promotions.”

CBSE stated that all the board exam practice papers for Class 10 and Class 12 are available at the official website of CBSE, cbseacademic.nic.in and can be downloaded for free of cost.
The board, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) recommendations, had initiated competency-focused education and assessment in all its affiliated schools. CBSE stated that it recently published the Class 10 and Class 12 practice papers for all major subjects so that students appearing for the upcoming board exams can boost their preparations.

An official statement from CBSE read, “ These practice papers have been developed to facilitate the students in solving more application-based questions of higher-order thinking skills and enhance conceptual understanding of topics.”
