Central University of Kashmir opens BTech CSE 2026 admissions for reserved category; apply till June 30

CUK invites applications for reserved-category BTech CSE seats; registration opens June 24, admissions based on JEE Main 2026 merit
The Central University of Kashmir's Department of Information Technology (CUK IT) has started the admission process for its AICTE-approved BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme for the 2026-27 academic session. The university has invited online applications from candidates belonging to reserved categories, including OBC, SC, ST and PwD.
Candidates can submit their applications through the university's admission portal at cukashmiradm.samarth.edu.in. As per the schedule released by the university, the online registration process will begin on June 24, 2026, and continue until June 30, 2026.
The application fee for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD categories has been set at Rs 500.

CUK IT Btech Admission 2026: Steps to apply
To submit the application form for admission to the reserved-category seats in the BTech CSE 2026 programme, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official university's admission portal at cukashmiradm.samarth.edu.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘Existing Users’ option
- Enter the details, including registration number & password and then submit
- Fill out the information, upload the necessary documents, make the payment and then submit
- Download the confirmation page and then take a printout for further verification
Applicants seeking additional information can visit the university's official website or contact the numbers mentioned in the notification. University officials will be available to assist candidates during office hours, from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Eligible criteria and selection process
To be eligible, applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 45 per cent marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade. They should have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology as their main subjects. Candidates must also have obtained a valid score in JEE Main 2026.
Admissions will be offered based on the merit secured by candidates in JEE 2026. The university has also stated that reservation benefits will be provided according to the norms laid down by the Government of India.
